Dr. Dimple Malavia
Dr. Malavia is a specialist in the field of Endodontics (Root Canal Therapy).
She received her dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 1998. Upon graduation, she trained as a resident for two years, at Staten Island University Hospital in the General Practice Residency Program. During her second year she was the Chief Resident of the Department and her additional responsibilities included supervising and teaching residents.
She received her Certificate in Endodontics from New York University College of Dentistry in 2002. During her two years at NYU, she was involved in research and learned the latest concepts and techniques in the field of Endodontics. She also taught the undergraduate students.
Dr. Malavia joined the practice in 2002. Her well-rounded training and use of latest procedures has enabled Dr. Malavia to use a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of her patients.
She is an Attending at JFK Medical Center and is involved in training the residents. She is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association and is active in her local dental society. She is also a member of the Seattle Study Club and attends various meetings and courses to continually update and enhance her knowledge.
She is married and has one son. She is an avid reader and enjoys travelling.
